How to measure costume sizing

  1. Chest To measure your chest, start by locating the fullest part of your chest, typically around the nipple area. Raise your arms and encircle your chest with a measuring tape, ensuring it goes around your back to the front. Keep the tape snugly wrapped but not overly tight.

  2. Waist Find your waist, which lies between the bottom of your ribs and the top of your hips. Place the measuring tape around your waist, usually just above the belly button. Exhale naturally, and then take the measurement. Ensure the tape is firm against your waist without digging into your skin.

  3. Height Measure your height from the top of your head to the floor. For an easy method, either mark the wall with a pencil where your head touches it or place a flat object like a book where your head meets the wall. Then measure the distance from that point to the floor to determine your height.

Boys Zoot Suit Fancy Dress Costume

Your kids can teach adults a lesson in style when suiting up like the fashionable Italian-American men of the 40s with this boys Zoot Suit costume. This outfit is also great for recreating a mobster look like the gangsters from the 1920s.

He'll be the smooth wise guy from Chicago when he puts on this black and white striped jacket, matching pegged trousers, and shirt insert with a white tie and braces.

This cool young cat will snap his fingers and take over the 1940s or Film themed party in this fancy dress.
