How to measure costume sizing

  1. Chest To measure your chest, start by locating the fullest part of your chest, typically around the nipple area. Raise your arms and encircle your chest with a measuring tape, ensuring it goes around your back to the front. Keep the tape snugly wrapped but not overly tight.

  2. Waist Find your waist, which lies between the bottom of your ribs and the top of your hips. Place the measuring tape around your waist, usually just above the belly button. Exhale naturally, and then take the measurement. Ensure the tape is firm against your waist without digging into your skin.

  3. Height Measure your height from the top of your head to the floor. For an easy method, either mark the wall with a pencil where your head touches it or place a flat object like a book where your head meets the wall. Then measure the distance from that point to the floor to determine your height.
